A Silver Gentleman's Card Case. Art deco with engine turned design and plain bars. The case is in beautiful condition. The hindge is in good working order. The case measures 82mm x 46mm with a depth of 7mm. there is a tiny ding to the top edge, and a few minute marks around the case. The inside measurments are 72mm x 40mm x 5mm. makers S B & S ltd. (S Blanckensee & Sons Ltd) of Frederick Street & Great Hampton Street, Birmingham. A stunning piece for the discerning Gent about town. It is hallmarked for Chester 1933, the hallmarks are clear and crisp as the day they were stamped.. The weight of the case is 43 grams, the base of the case is concaved.
Condition: Excellent. There is a tini ding to the top edge, and a few minute marks around the case.
