Two Hand-Coloured Prints: The Oxford & Cambridge Boat Race

Here we have two hand-coloured high quality prints which have fun with the theme of the Oxford & Cambridge Boat Race. Number One is "On the Banks", and Number Two is "On the River." Each has been newly mounted, and they are ready for display or for further framing. These are original prints, perhaps dating from the late 19th Century. They are on sale here as a pair. They may have originated from a source such as Punch or The Illustrated London News. "Pull away, Phil, Give 'em a spirt! and they'll take us for some of them Cambridge coves, and lay no end of hodds on us." (Presumably 'odds' and not 'Hoods'!!!)
Condition: Perfect. No damage at all - new mounts and mint condition prints.
Dimensions: Approx.47cm x 35cm mounted. Approx. 35cm x 27cm unmounted.
