Art Nouveau Brass Two Bottle Inkstand and Letter Rack

A superb Art Nouveau period two bottle inkstand letter rack with pen rest. The stand has the typical Art Nouveau organic flowing style with five petal flower clusters and piercngs; the two cut glass inkwells have brass sleeve and hinge lids decorated with flowing curves and lines around a five petal flower motif. The stand is in very good condition and is stamped on the bottom with pattern no. 6575 and has an 8 pointed star/sun mark with an enclosed 'M'.
Condition: Very Good. The piece is in very good condition overall. One inkwell has has lost an edge down the back of the bottle, this is smooth and does not detract. The lid on the other bottle does not fit quite flat on the sleeve but again this does not detract from the overall appearance.
Dimensions: 22cm long x 15cm high x 16cm depth.
