A rare Clarice Cliff Conical Sugar Shaker, hand painted in the JONQUIL pattern. This is a floral design superimposed on a DELICIA type base. This shape, as well as the pattern, was designed by Clarice, and is one of her most instantly recognisable shapes. Printed C.C. mark to the base, with original stopper. From a private collection.
Condition: Excellent. Beautifully painted with nice thick brush strokes to the orange top. No cracks, chips or restoration. Would be classed as mint if not for the minutest nick to the base, not visable unless turned upside down.
Dimensions: 5.5" High. Base 3" Diam.
