An elegant cased emerald over clear crystal vase, the flared body on a compressed lower section and facet cut base. The panelled upper section is decorated with a deep cut to clear emerald diamond ring over a solid emerald band; the decoration is echoed on the lower section, and the base is embellished with a further emerald band. 1930s, stylus signed "Val St. Lambert" to the base, also a very faint acid stamp "Val Saint Lambert, Belgique" on one of the upper body panels.

Dimensions: 7½in/19cm high, 6in/15.2cm rim diameter.
