A most unusual and very attractive vase, with a funnel neck, twin demi-S handles, and ovoid body on a short collar base. The lightly panelled, pale brown vase is ornamented with two lifelike three-dimensional fish. The latter are hand decorated with deep orange upper bodies and white and black spotted lower halves. The fish swim amongst polychrome raised enamel aquatic plants. The vase is further embellished with an additional enamelled frond to the reverse, as well as raised white bead bands to the rim and neck; there are traces of gilt patterning on the handles and around the base. The glass reacts strongly to UV/Blacklight. Circa 1900, unmarked, but in all probability Harrach'sche Glasfabrik, Czechoslovakia.
 Condition: Good
 Dimensions: 7¼in/18.4cm high.
