This antique majolica sardine box by George Jones is approx. 9.5 inches long x 7.5 inches wide. The box is attached to the base. It has a basket waeve design with a blue interior. The lid features 2 small and 1 large fish which is approx. 5.75 inches long. It is incised with the full George Jones factory mark. The condition is excellent but there has been a repair to the left of the tail on the large fish as shown in the picture.
