A beautiful Georgian Sofa dating to Circa 1790/1800, of good proportions standing on slender tapered mahogany legs with 3 legs supporting the front of the sofa all with original brass casters. This sofa is a beautiful period settee with shaped curved arms and comfy slip cushion, as with all Georgian Antique Furniture this is lovely and simple in design, classically elegant. Having passed through our workshops the material has been stripped off and the frame has been thoroughly vetted and clamped as necessary, the legs have been traditionally french polished and the original brass bucket casters have been polished. The sofa itself has been re-upholstered using traditional materials and is finished in a striking Sage Damask with accanthus detailing.
