Extending Victorian mahogany and brass book ends
A fabulous example of Victorian ingenuity, this extending mahogany book holder will take many books, the ends having substantial brass hinges which allow the ornate demi lune ends to rise and fall according to use. The base is baize lined and the outer ends decorated with pierced brass .
A wonderful and useful piece of antique furniture ideal for use in any room.
