A high grade fusee watch with Liverpool jewelling in a heavy 18 carat gold case with ornate cast edges. It has a Chester hallmark with, unusually, no date letter. The movement is signed M Barnett Liverpool patent & is protected by the original brass dust cover. The watch is 1,7/8" diameter (2,5/8" overall). It is in good working order. The 'glass' is a perspex replacement. A very high quality watch which would have been very expensive when new.
