An attractive marine ivory carved snuff bottle, in the form of a kneeling nobleman. The robed, smiling figure holds a flower in his left hand and fingers his beard with the right, the toe of his left shoe peers from beneath the robe. Probably Japanese, the vendor suggests an early to mid C20th dateline, black outline mark to the base.
Condition: Good
Dimensions: A little under 3in/7.6cm high.
