Jessie Marion King 'The Garden' published in December 1913. Housed in the original Arts and Crafts English Oak frame, this is from the series 'Seven Happy Days' which embraced a brand new development for this era by using metallic inks of gold and silver. This series is considered as one of her finest from the pinnacle of her earlier career and are becoming harder to find as the years pass-by. The images do-not show the full beauty of this print as it you can't see the metallic inks so well. It is much better to see in situ.
